According to details, credible information was received that substantial quantity of smuggled diesel was transporting to Karachi via said route. Reacting on this information, a team of ASO Preventive mounted stiff vigilance and spotted a 12-wheeler truck at Moachko check point. The preventive staff during physical examination of the vehicle recovered 14,400 litres of smuggled diesel worth Rs1.296 million. Consequent upon recovery, a case has been registered and further investigation is in progress.
